Requirements for Non-Stipend Graduate Fellows

Fellows who are accepted to the program without a stipend have the following requirements:

• Engage in a mentored research project applying math to QIS
• Attend and present at the MathQuantum Annual Symposium once
• Fulfill one of these:
  • Take Theory of QIS course (3 credits)
  • Take Applications of QIS course (3 credits)
  • Take two semesters of the Quantum Information Science RIT (2 credits) - might also be asked to assist organizing an RIT -

All other requirements we have for the stipend fellows would be optional.
